Newspaper article including me and about the Angel I'm trying to get put up here in town

They've given us the go ahead to begin fundraising!

Congratulations. Getting in the paper is a great help. We always get a bump in interest (and donations) when we get an article about us.

I'm working on a website so that I can accept online donations too right now. I'm meeting with 3 other angel parents on Friday to discuss ideas for fundraising

Good luck with your fundraising for your Angel. Once you get the word out through being at
public events to fundraise, things will really start to move for you. This forum is a great place
for you to get ideas and ask questions of those of us, who have already been where you are now.

Please keep us updated on your progress. We will be putting in and A of H garden here (in S E central Illinois) soon...as weather permits this Spring will begin pouring the concrete walkway, but still working on raising funds to get the Angel statue and base. I look forward to seeing your garden as it progresses.
